My mom just passed away before Christmas, and she loved this song and would play it frequently when I was young. On the ride out to her house to start cleaning it out, this exact song came on the radio in the car. It was about a 20 minute drive we had to make, and I live in NYC and don’t have a license and my eldest sister lives in ATL. The odds of me hearing that song for the first time in over a decade, while all of her children were together in a car on the way to our home, are so low. I was 6 years old when I heard this song the first time, it reminded me of my father who was murdered when I was 4 years old. Now my mom had brain surgery earlier in July 2021...
