1) Osteoid osteomas more common in the metaphysis, than Diaphysis, although they can occur anywhere, even Epiphysis. 2) Giant Cell Tumors are not of Osteoclastic origin. The Osteoclastic Giant Cells are just a characteristic finding due to reaction to the actual tumors cells which are of probably osteoblastic origin lying in the stroma of the tumor. 3) Ewing's sarcoma is currently thought to be of Mesenchymal origin.

I was diagnosed with a bone tumor in my very painful hip two months ago. Dr. Says it’s a fibroxanthoma. I’m a 50 year old man. Everything I read associates fibroxanthoma as a childhood disease. What tumor is most closely related to a fibroxanthoma?

I’ve been suffering from severe hip pain which has recently gotten worse. Last week I saw my doctor and he said that I have a tumor in my hip joint. He called it fibroxanthoma, but didn’t explain much. The pain in my groin is so intense that I can hardly breathe. Please explain fibroxanthoma as I can hardly find information about it. Thank you

After experiencing pain in my left Femur since June 2021, back in November it got so bad I could no longer sleep at night and could barely walk in the mornings…. I finally went to the doctor and they said my imaging is consistent with “ Giant Osteoid Osteoma “ it’s an osteoid osteoma that’s 6 inches on the surface of my femur, the pain is un describable. I literally want to scream, 5 minutes after taking Ibuprofen or Naproxen, the pain disappears 100%. Awaiting surgery to get it removed, I cannot wait to be pain free without taking pills!!!!

I get the pain. Went through a year of reoccurring Giant Cell Tumor (lower end of tibia, always benign, tumor 3 times in one year). The final surgery for me was a BK amputation. I was 31 at the time, so no big deal. That was 27 years ago. I wish you luck, quick healing, and a life without bone pain in the near future!

I have had a small lump on my tibia a while back, I was initially worried but I kinda forgot about it. I run a lot so I thought I got stress fracture or shin splints but it was not healing much and also had symptoms of both and today I realized the same bump I had earlier has gotten bigger and in the same site as my injury which I was thinking either shin splints or stress fracture. I am just hoping it is not cancerous or even a tumor. I will get it checked out soon.

I have a genetic condition called neurofibromatosis. There are three types and I have type one. All types cause these tumors to grow in our body but they are benign but on rare occasions can become malignant and lead to some cancers. But that is rare at least 3% I would love to see a video covering Neurofibromatosis because not only do I have it but older sister, my dad have it too, even my grandpa had it. I know many others do too. I am sure many would appreciate a video covering this condition. I know I would because I am surprised that many people don't know much about this condition.

Hello I am @Doctor_Ehichioya1 a great herbalist of all time. I had a great knowledge of herbs all around the world. I cured many people from severe diseases like herpes, Diabetes, cancer and other. Many celebrities took my help when modern medical treatments disappointed them. So what is your problem my dear ..??
