I'm 45 years old and was diagnosed with a rheumatological condition over a decade ago. I was a hardcore treestand bowhunter for most of my life prior. So, I just stopped hunting altogether when even walking became difficult. However, my wife decided she wanted to start hunting last year (after seeing food shortages and insane prices). So, we ended up getting one of these 180 blinds. Man, is it nicer than the "old" hub blinds I grew up hunting turkey out of. I'm confident that even if I had to use my wheelchair on a bad day that the two of us could fit just fine and still get the job done on bringin' home some meat.

Got one of these before season this year. On 10-20-21 I was hunting in it and shot the biggest 12 point of my life with a bow at 32 yards and he never had a clue I even existed! I recommend this Rhino 180 to anyone thinking about purchasing one. Lots of room and plenty tall. Love it

Great video. I was lucky to have a DAD that took me all over the country. He was a great hunter. And fisherman. And you are a good example for your kids. Now have 3 grandkids and I get to teach what I've learned. GOD bless you and your loved ones.

I’ve been living in Georgia for the last 10 years. Never have hunted much, but went a few times as a kid. Never shot anything. At 54, I went Turkey hunting for the first time last year. I know it is a tough target animal to hunt for a new hunter, but I’ve never done anything the easy way. After nearly 30 years chasing bad guys, I thoroughly love chasing deer and big game. I’ve been learning a TON from your videos. Thank You!!! I have been up in my stand in public land every Saturday since opening day and even though I haven’t bagged anything, I love it! I have two rhino blinds. Thy are not the 180s. I am a budget hunter. But I love your show!! My wife and I are HUGE fans and always talk about the "what if's" of being able to hunt with you guys. I absolutely love hunting out of a ground blind. It's good if you're a little fidgety, and it covers up your movement when you get ready to prepare a shot. If you place it right and you place your feed or your traffic area right, you're going to kill dear close enough to smell their breath. I love it. Especially when I'm bow hunting and I have to get in real close, a ground blind is the way to go

Nice blinds and a nice little set up right there, Michael! I've got (2) Rhino's myself but none are the see-thru. I've been on the AMERISTEP prostaff for close to 15 yrs now so I've got a few of them as well. I do like ground blinds for when I take out new hunters, kids, and guests, and they come in handy when I want to film. Also, being an outdoor writer/columnist for the past 26 years, I like to get great photos to go along with my deer and turkey hunting articles, and being in a blind allows me to shoot pics before the kill. or just when I want to observe. Other than that, I'm an old fashioned MAINE hunter and at age 64 still prefer to set a chair up by an old stone wall or a swamp and hunt from the ground. I really enjoy the challenge of being eye-level with the deer, (no blind), having to really watch my movement & scent. I've been a fairly consistent deer killer here, considering MAINE doesn't allow Sunday hunting or any type of baiting. When you hunt deer here, it quite literally comes down to intense scouting and careful set up if you want venison in the freezer, and I can honestly say that all my deer have been taken this way, and most of my kills have been 60-70 yds or less. (Closest kill I ever made was on a nice doe at 12 yds...no joke...and I was standing beside a tree when she came by. Gimme a shout some time will ya, dude? I know you're super busy and in high demand but I really think we should share a hunt camp together someday. Share a turkey hunt, eat some wild groceries, talk a little about this great country of ours, and share a little about Jesus! I'm serious, brother. Love to meet you some day. It's a bucket list item. I like watching it all. I watch them all and if I happen to get a tidbit of new info or something new to try, even better. But, It is interesting just to hear the story, or watch a setup or listen to the philosophy of why you did something that way. I do have a question. you ever not find a deer you shot quartering away? I just did it this past weekend. shot placement I thought was good for quartering away. It was a mechanical broadhead. I am wondering if they are known to not deploy correctly on an angled shot. Have a friend that did the same thing on a nice buck we could never find. Bled fairly well but definitely not like a double lunger. Then 150 yards, no more blood. even before that... difficult tracking. can a broadhead ricochet off a rib?
