The amount of noise/disturbance you make is crazy when you see them. Anchor and paddle slamming against the kayak. Those grey ghosts can even hear your voice on the flats. Patience and stealth.

You nailed it! The most pressured bonefish in the World and the most educated! Something of a miracle to have them returning to the same spot time after time.

@@dorisandpatrickleary8297 A bunch of the ones he catches are "young and dumb" but fishing for bones at or below the 7MB it is all presentation and stealth. I love his videos, but the approach to them just makes me cringe. Have a plan, get your gear ready, be on the lookout and then present well while not "being there". I mean he generates more noise that the Marathon Lady fishing charter party boat! 🤣

I love these videos. For the last little bit I have been living through these videos.Especially the poon videos. A coworker who does not even fish would watch these religiously and I caught on. That was about 4 years ago. I hope to get on some big barracuda on the flats coming up soon. Bonefish is a dream. I am a dub producer out of Miami, feel free to use any of the music if it suites ya! rock on and keep tearing it up! I hope to grab some merch soon!

They're called ""Ghost of the Flats" for a reason! Try a spin rod and live shrimp until you get the hang of it or book a couple of trips with a local guide.

That’s the way I learned as a kid with Joe Saladino. Once I got that down, fly was easier. Patience and silence…
