What is the point of this? In guns specifically. For normal things I think I can make a lever with this or even a piston engine sensor trigger.

some pistols, mostly like 1911's, the trigger is not hinged on the top and is kinda hinged on its side. I try to provide as much help as possible to complicated problems with gate-keeped solutions.

and for the gun trigger, its based on rotation, not position
