Hey Boneless! Secret Puppey just used your jungle Kotl guide in the first TI5 Group stage match! :D
@BonelessDota9 жыл бұрын
MrSmeXycano Cheers!! MY KOTL JUNGLING MADE IT TO THE INTERNATIONAL! :D But are you referring to Secret vs Fnatic which is being played right now? Because if you are, then I gotta say it was pretty unimpressive (I saw he was level 3 at 7 minutes). But there is another game in The International where my KOTL jungle style was used to much better effect which is the Wildcard match between MVP.Phoenix and Archon. In this game Febby on KOTL got a 14 min scepter while at the same time helping to shut down the enemy mid Storm. That was really awesome to see. Im making a video about this game atm, should be out tomorrow. If you wanna check that game out, here is the game ID: 1663436687
@MrSmeXycano9 жыл бұрын
Alright great!! Can't wait to watch it :D unfortunately I was watching the other wildcard when MVP were facing off against Archon so this'll be a great way to catch up, thanks! Coming back to Fnatic vs Secret, yeah, but they were getting destroyed that game. I don't think Kotl was the right pick in that lineup, they needed more of a defensive support (one that was actually useful in the laning stage with heals etc), there just wasn't the required space for a jungling Kotl... Awesome that you replied! Keep up the great videos :D

Hello, Good video. This technique is well known for the post part. I want to say something to you though, this technique is really pioneered from Furion who on DIRE uses that high ground to abuse the cycle for his treants between level 2 and 3. Kotl is better off using the jungle to level up a support. Kotl though is best used in lane. I would go continue to go on about it but I wanted to tell you GJ. I just hope you consider that this wasn't the best thing to show the masses because of the impact it has on judgement. I never included this in a Dota 101 video because of how this dynamic changes lanes. For pubs this is excellent as a 5th pick with great lanes. This will not be used in any level of CM matches though. -FrosT

As interesting as this is, and even effective in farming early items for KOTL... The real power of the hero comes in his ability to help a carry crush a lane. Example being KOTL + PL He'd be much better served assisting a carry in a lane. That being said, if you already had sufficient lanes and you have no jungler. It could be an option. But then only if you're on Dire. Which makes this extremely situational.
@xxMurmaiderxx11 жыл бұрын
The power of the hero comes with recall, team fight presence and counter push... Most supports are more of an early roaming, fall off late. This hero can Illuminate and completely turn the tide of a team fight, get very good farm and allow carries to farm all game with recall being available.
@freidian11 жыл бұрын
But if you had a trilane against a solo hero, who spends most of his time away from the lane, such as Furion. Then having two supports pulling the same camp is not very efficient. This is where this guide comes into play.
@Elbonio11 жыл бұрын
xxMurmaiderxx Yes but it'd be worth spending 5 minutes doing this first, then turning up and crushing the lane.
@whatsavailaible11 жыл бұрын
You clearly did not notice the timing. a 5 minute mek? Sure, kotl can go away for 5 mins, get the mek and come back and crush harder
@Racalavaca11 жыл бұрын
wrong on all accounts. KOTL is an amazing mid/late game support. Even in the example you gave (kotl/pl), it's less about the laning and more about the split push, as kotl's recall and constant mana refill can allow pl to easily and safely push all lanes. Plus his ever underestimated blinding light is insane in late game team fights, where the blind can negate SO much damage coming out from the enemy carry

This is assuming no-one enters the jungle, sees the stacked camps and steals them/wards so Keeper isn't safe... There's a lot of variables in which this strategy won't work. Although, if everything goes right, it could be fairly devastating.
@SirTatManTat11 жыл бұрын
What?
@praveenmarkandu11 жыл бұрын
You cant steal a camp this early on in levels. The only people that will rotate in would be supports. If they disturbed a camp, they would die to the neutrals. The most you can do is just hang around and steal experience and stop is pulls with wards.

Biggest problem is you lose a lot of xp on some of those high range illuminates... it's minor though, and is probably worth it after all, considering you're level 6 by 5m anyway
@BonelessDota11 жыл бұрын
Nice eye you got. I only lost xp on the last 2 illuminates I casted from medium camp to hardcamp though. During the illuminates from medium to medium I made sure I was in xp range. I chose to forfift the that big amount of xp in the end so I could get the gold from the extra camp as this one was s a race to get the fastest meka. It is, like you said, better to stand closer to the hardcamp when youre killing the last stacks so you get the xp Ill make sure to mention this when I do the KOTL guide in near future. Cheers.

This is almost impossible because the spawns will like 80% of the time be spawn a mud golem in the middle of the mid-camp stacks so it will fuck up your jungle many and many times, still i think you can get a decent amount of gold from the other creeps. GJ

Or you can just buy a headdress from your starting g and get the rest in about 5 min anyways (illuminate rarely spares creeps), while helping your carry on lane.

BonelessDota Would u make invoker jungling video? :)
@BonelessDota9 жыл бұрын
Ive tried it out. But it seems it wont be fast. Exort is not enough damage and forge spirit is weak in the beginning. And meteor needs alot of levels before it can clear a big stack. Do you have any other ideas what skills to use when jungling invoker Im not thinking about? I will give it another shot when I find the time, but it seems invoker jungling will not be fast.

well if it's supposed to be some kind of speedrun or something, sure, but he really should get the XP from that camp.
@slimsheikki11 жыл бұрын
clancym1 Well if anyone who actually knows what the game plan is should know that maybe they shouldn't rush this fast Mek if they don't have a fast push / fast team fight team. I mean if you have a fast push then fuck your carry and get this -> push. If not, then a minute here, minute there won't fuck your game up if you can secure your carrys farm.

kinda pointless picking KOTL and not helping in lane.
@KypHeM11 жыл бұрын
***** Your solo carry will die 6 times in that 4.8 minutes alone. Its a terrible idea to send 5 position support in the jungle. What good is that mek when your carry has 0 farm.
@KypHeM11 жыл бұрын
***** With that logic you just better pick a true jungler like Enigma that can build mek even faster and actually be helpful the entire game. This trick is trully useless. There are much better jungling supports.
@Falkner9410 жыл бұрын
Alex Pana even offlaner dont die 6 times against trilane what makes you think your carry will?
@tooncasteele983611 жыл бұрын
This is in no way a new technique...
@pliosaurus11 жыл бұрын
I hate these jungling videos, there are too many factors weighed in here. For one, you would need to pick on dire side to effectively pull this off. And if you got a hill troll camp spawn, then you can kiss your stacking goodbye. And let's not forget golem spawns will limit your potential. KotL is better on a lane anyway, to support and harass the opposing team.
@IronXXXMaiden111 жыл бұрын
Radiant can do it too. Its safer because only one camp can spawn golems, its closer to lane so you aren't completely worthless, and you can do it all with 1 set of tangos instead of quelling. The only downside is one of them is an easy camp so a 6 minute mek is more reasonable, but still amazingly fast.
