Bones Swiss L2 v.s. Spitfire Cheap Shot

This is a comparison of my swiss l2 to my bros cheap shot idk how his are faster than mine I paid $60 dollars for mine and he paid $10 dollars for his. Maybe spit fire makes better bearings or the swiss just really dirty. I got the swiss not long rode them in the skate park and everything. I promise you the crazy as this looks this is real and not edited at all.

The Spitfire bearings are older and have less lube. You can tell because they are noisy. A dry bearing will be faster and freespin longer... BUT, when actually skating, it will be slower because of friction. That is why lube is needed. Also, there is not really much difference in speed between high quality bearings. But the Bones will last much longer than others if you take care of them.

Bearings are a machined part that moves. Lubrication will slow down a bearing when the limited clearance between the bearing ball and the race, where the bearing travels, is filled with oil. Cleaning and lubrication increases the life and sometimes the performance of the bearing. All of these free-spinning bearing videos on the internet are kind of a joke for bearing reviews since the bearing is designed to hold your body weight. The freespin of an unweighted bearing does not necessarily display it's true ride performance. Guys who do big drops and stair sets will burst their cheap bearings after a while. A cheap bearing not designed for skateboarding might fit a skateboard wheel and spin like a mug with no weight loaded, but literally explode when you stand on it. Not all bearings are made equal that's why freespinning is not a legit comparison. As with any sport or hobby, buy what suits your budget and need. I have bones swiss on my sector 9 and crap stock bearings on my cheap complete. My sector 9 can go blocks with out a push and the cheap bearings lose speed on anything but a ramp. However, my swiss bearing cost as much as the entire cheap board. Just do your research and have fun with whatever you have.

Everyone rides bones nowadays and I only ever see 3 of my friends riding spitfires bearings. Idk maybe everyone just likes them better but I would personally take spitfire burners over bones Swiss anytime

The cheapskate need to be lubed. Bearings shouldn't have that loud bearing sound only when they are dry. How do they roll? Smooth and long or short and smooth? How tight is your axle nut? Do you have speed rings and spacers? installed?

They just need to break in if you just got them. They will be wayyy faster than the spitfires once they are broken in.

There was already speed cream in them they just got messed up cause of the speed cream and when you first buy them they suck

when the wheel is on the ground it spins way less and it doesn't matter how much it spins when its not on the ground. plus play the factor in that you must have had your nuts on too tight. keep bearing spacers and speed rings on at all times. it takes time to break in bearings.
