Remember they dont do any of Disney bus transportation not at all,plus the river boat either that includes with any of getting tickets on your cell cause we are closing all that . Plus including email too only you have to come too the entreance of what park you want to come into

Followed your advice to the T and it worked perfectly. As soon as the clock struck 7 I hit refresh and joined the Queue for Tron. Got Boarding group 10. The next day we couldn't make Epcot until the afternoon so I counted to 50 and got boarding group 95 for a scheduled 3:50 ride time. I ended up being called at 1:50. This was mid Sept, but the crowds at the parks were high for some reason but worked perfectly. Thanks so much for the tips, Great Video

One final note on this. I also tried to get into the 1 PM virtual queue. I was in Liberty Tree Tavern finishing lunch and tested LTE & 5GUW and in that location, the opposite was true: 5GUW was way faster than LTE, so I used that and got in really quick. However, I got the message that our party didn't qualify because you can only do one virtual queue per day. I had read that in several places but a cast member in the internet helpline the night before swore that I could. She was mistaken as I thought she was when she said it. So I went ahead at 1:05 and grabbed four ILL's for our group. I wouldn't normally do that, but another ride on Tron is worth it for my son's 18th Birthday. 🙂 Thanks again Douglas.

I completely agree with the LTE vs 5g. 5g is great and when you have signal with 5g it's awesome. But if you use LTE, by switching it on your network settings, less people's phone will be on that connection because many phones are always on 5g.

I know this isn’t the point of the video but the castle in the background is so cool When rise of the resistance was new in 2021 (not even THAT new of a ride at that point) we missed our chance by 7:01. We had luck getting on for all rides when we tried in the afternoon just like you said. I was always able to get it in the afternoon.

I agree, don't use Disney WiFi. They use att and and it's also overloaded. Luckily i have T-Mobile which is great in Orlando and it's never failed. We use T-Mobile hotspot when camping at Fort Wilderness and it's getting over 200mbps on the regular.

@@TVTIME-be8ze it’s more about having those waits optimized keeping you in the parks and not in one line, than making sure you get on the ride. Every minute you spend in a non-moving line is a minute not in a merchandise or food location.

What if I have a ticket to the night time party like Not So Scary or Very Merry Christmas Party but not a park day ticket can I still join a virtual queue? Is there a physical standby line at the after hour party?

If you have the ability to enter the park somehow you can join the virtual queue. I recommend going for the 1pm queue, though. You might need to be near the park though… you can stand nearby and do it.

Bummer ..at 7 on the dot refresh button didn't turn into join virtual queue ..I click refresh still nothing ..that was a few seconds of delay by the time it updated no more slots available 😢 hoping that I'll he able to make it at 1pm

I can understand that frustration, but the 1pm boarding queue is so much easier to get. Also, did click the refresh button at 7am? You have to click it to get the virtual queue button to show up, it should pop up right away afterwards

@CarouselofDouglas follow update, I was able to get on a boarding group at 1pm, but yet again, the refresh button didn't really update anything, Either the app or Disney server had troubles handling the high traffic yesterday. I was consistently pressing the refresh button when the clock was at 12:59 pm so I would not miss a second, when clock turned 1pm, once again no joing group button was presented, so instead of waiting like I did at 7AM , I swipped down to get the app refreshed and that did the trick, join virtual queue showed up and was able to get on group 139. It all went extremely fast..one second I'd say when I realized that the refresh button was not working , another 1 or 2 seconds at the most to swipped down and get button refreshed. You really have to be on top of the game here, never thought how competitive this ride is at the moment!!! I saved 40 bucks yesterday in LL for getting in queue, which were well spent for kids :). On a side Note, I hat to wait 8 long hours, though!!! Yes 8!! I got in line at 1pm and my bg was called at 9pm!! Crazzy but was the most exciting ride I have ever ridden!! Cheers

I don’t think there are special times for groups. You can do max 10 people at once and it doesn’t affect your chances in anyway with more people. I’d designate one person to go for it, because it might confuse the system to have a large group getting the request multiple times for the same people.

I believe that if it’s virtual queue, everyone with a park reservation is eligible at 7:00am, but you cannot buy the Individual Lightning Lanes until park open if you’re not staying on property. So, my understanding is that if you’re doing a virtual queue, yes… if you’re not, no! Hope that helps!

Mickey’s NSSHP hasn’t revealed how they’re going to handle Tron, but my guess is it will NOT be a virtual queue. Hope that helps!

Great video. Do you hit “refresh” or does it automatically switch to blue at 7am? I don’t think that was there when I did Guardians in June?! (You did touch on this.) Also what’s your advice for a Canadian who’s not paying for cellular? I’ve only ever used WiFi (had no issues with Guardians but like you said, it was just Guardians back then).

You have to physically push the refresh button. It does *not* automatically refresh. The WiFi is not ideal, but it can work… but I feel it is not as reliable by far, sorry. I find if it DOES work, your group number is way later… so if you want to go back to sleep after 7am, then WiFi is the way to go, I guess!! 🤣 Good luck!!

Only if you get the queue, it doesn’t warn you about the queue drops, but it will tell you when your group has been called

For 7am you do not need to be in the park, you just need to be able to enter Magic Kingdom, at 1pm it says you need to be in the park, but the radius seems to have expanded outside the border of the park without an official announcement. Does that help?

That is an excellent question! If you have to use the WiFi, then your best friend is making sure you watch the clock **VERY** carefully! A matter of seconds can determine your ability to get a virtual queue spot or not. Good luck!

I've done all that and have never gotten the 7am virtual queue for tron. I think it's slated strictly for disney hotel guests. Also I have a pixie pass. I think these are all factors that minimize the chance of getting it

I’m sorry you feel that way. The Tron virtual queue goes faster than any other queue has in the past. I once counted to four at 7am and then tried for a queue, and got 100, which is a late afternoon boarding group. Just be quick, as far as I’m aware, everyone gets a fair shake!

@@ducheau100 I’m aware of many people, on property and not, who do not get boarding groups… I’m not sure that I can agree prioritization of resort guests is the case, but I can fully understand why you might believe that when you’re not getting a queue. I’ve also had people who think APs or DVC gets priority over everyone. I do seriously believe it’s just a combination of internet connection and speed/preparedness of user with no additional bias added in. I will keep hoping you get to ride this amazing ride, though! Buying lightning lanes are considerably easier. You can also set your time, which means you might be able to snag an elusive night time ride on Tron!!
