The loco performed faultlessly on all Santa trains on the first weekend. with Class 37403 at the rear. Thanks for your comment Andrew.

Always wondered. with the steam locomotive "out of gear" and running free when the Class 37 is pulling (love the warble from the Tractor) do you still have to stoke the fire?

Yes, the fireman would still need to maintain the fire even when the locomotive isn’t operating

The first santa train had wheelsip on both locomotives uphill. 10.15 - The lineside trespasser was reported. A good day.
