I think you'll have to not use a single bullet (well, ok maybe one or two) and kill every npc with melee weapons. I'm currently doing this on my second run, I just finished the sewers and I have 10k ammo in total.

Yep take your time and look around for ammo dont waste your money and you should be ok

A good way to get lots of ammo early on is to put all the magazines in the weapon training area at the museum in your ammo belt.

When grabbing the weapons, don't forget to also grab the ammo...ALL of it. Every bit of ammo you can grab from anywhere in the game is good at the vending machines but getting Developer's tools (in the Clock Tower) is very expensive. In fact, you will need most of the ammo from everywhere in the game...The more often you can win fights with melee only, the easier it is to afford the really good stuff. Best thing to get is the Utility Gun because you can use it to spawn any item you've unlocked throughout the whole game; you can use it not only in Sandbox Mode but also in the main game itself.

if you press the red button on the other side of the first door (the one you blocked with the trashcan) the door will open again making it easier to bring the tub through

theres actually a button on the on the giant door that closes on the side of the reclamation bin that opens the door so you can go under the door press the button and easily lug all the weapons to the bin

Yes. If you don't finish the level, you won't have the items in sandbox mode.

it doesn't work for me... I go put the weapons in. it does the sound, then I finished the level by going to the giftshop and into the sewers to get out and I go back to the main menu but when I got into sandbox there's nothing

I wondered the same thing when I first started playing. Everything you put in the reclamation bin will be unlocked in Sandbox mode.

@@TheOGjarilo It is. I was really hoping I'd be able to use weapons I collect throughout the story. However, if you save your ammo, you can unlock the utility gun at the end of the game and then you can spawn all of the items you've collected on your playthroughs.

Did you finish the level? You have to dump all the stuff in the reclamation bin and then finish the level as you would normally. It won't save if you just reclaim it and then exit to main menu.

about the door closing, cant u just crouch under the green laser so the door doesnt close?

The only problem with that is the door to the shooting range won't open unless you walk through the green laser.

Finally found the zombie capsule. [[SPOILERS]] Sewer level. The very end where all the head crabs spawn out. Skip the golden key and instead go to the opposite end of the room. Break the lock on the door behind all the barrels and you'll see a Purple locked door. The key is on top of the Big pipe on the right side of the room. Climb the ladder above the door and shoot the key down with a gun and enjoy your two Boneworks crates.

The devs intend for you to be able to go back through, and if they didn't want you taking things back with you they could have put an item gate in the hallway, like they do to keep the balloon gun in the gravity chamber
