If there's one thing I never want, it's an Alice Lake KOM...
I'm going to make an effort to properly document all of these Alice Lake gems before they get developed, so here we go! Boney Elbows is a fantastic intermediate introduction to granite grip and brake control. Super fun and generally pretty relaxed trail, apart from the advanced option on the right at the end. Get out there and go get it once it's responsible to do so again, enjoy!

@@DaleStone assuming you confirmed at least half of my question about that upper right section being the huge gap-to-slab line that Yoann and Remy were jumping? I recall a couple of passing riders taking your line in one of their videos. What’s crazy is I live in USA, never been to Canada, only watch all your guys’ videos. Haha

The trails on Alice Lake are jeopardized by real estate development? I'm by no mean a Squamish local but I do a trip once every summer and I'd find it extremely sad if this amazing trail network was to disappear to get replaced by condos

More fantastic trails and riding. Curious if by chance you watched/saw Remi and Yoann's videos from Gouranga and there "alternate" lines before you rode it?
@DaleStone
@DaleStone 3 жыл бұрын
I've seen their lines before, but they're definitely too far on the freeride end of the spectrum for a cardio nut like me haha. I'm happy cleaning the "ride around". 😅
@lynxg4641
@lynxg4641 3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Think you do pretty damn good for a "cardio nut", as one to another, think it's what helps you enjoy the tech more as you don't get as easily out of breath like your friend DD ;-) First time I saw Gouranga and that spot was in a Enduro race and it was giving a lot of, what seemed pretty skilled riders trouble, so when I first saw Remi's alternate line I think 2 years ago and Yoann ride it on a Cyclocross bike, my mind was blown, but this new line they're riding, is just on another level.

I find DD’s complaining genuinely amusing. But I sympathize. Were I following DudeXTR, all contact would be lost 2 seconds into ‘pick your trail name’. At least he keeps you in sight. And he’s damn skilled.

Hello from Scotland! These are some amazing trails you have over there!! I rode a trail called Squamish AB yesterday (named after your BC Squamish, but its Aberdeenshire). Having never been to Canada, it was about as close to this kind of riding I've ever done... Obviously, it doesn't come close - that view/slab at 02:20 is just incredible...
