I love Boney James ! I can listen to him all night long !! I listen to his songs as I clean my place or going to work. ! I was introduce to smooth jazz when I moved from the south east to Arizona. I was flippin threw the radio stations and I heard Boney James song called, After The Rain ! I was hook'd, lines, and sunken in his songs. I'm a true believer in Smooth Jazz ! :) Thank you Boney James !

@deregram2 Thank you Buffalo for fostering Spyro Gyra and Jay Beckenstein, the undisputed god of the sax! I think Boney is the closest thing to Jay around right now though. Just saw Spyro Gyra at the Naperville IL jazz festival, incredible!

@536767676533766 dude this was made back in 1995, 15 years ago. Cameras weren't as good back then as they are now, different technology dude. Yeah, there were a couple shots inserted in this video here that were actually from other songs where it showed him playing his alto but with the audio staying the same (with him playing his tenor for this song), but it's still not "bad" because most people can't tell.
@chelle3100816 жыл бұрын
I agree its not the best drum solo but you still gotta love Boney. I could listen to this song all day. Now if you want to hear a good drum solo watch Rachelle Ferrell - Waiting (live) 3/3 (its on youtube just copy and paste)

wait that doesn't make sense....nbc100, you said that this video was recorded in 1995. However, the song "After the Rain" was released on "sweet thing" in 1997

I don't understand why someone picks a set of numbers for their KZbin "name". I guess it's just something that bugs me - no offense to you. I like the video. The sound is very good using Sony headphones with Windows 7. If someone uses "numbers" it seems like they are embarrassed by their opinion or their language.

that wasnt really a solo it was just a drum groove, and i personally thought it was whack, this guy wasnt repetitive, i like that in solos

lool i also noticed that he was playing an alto in one part of the vid and a tenor in the rest lool, only sax players would pick that up? lool im only joking!

People i just give advice for a video quality, why James Cameron can make a great movie in 1992 Terminator 2, and you not. James Cameron is just humen and you too ?????
@saulsleeper14 жыл бұрын
What do all these weird numbers mean? - think of a nickname and then you can't hide behind you're untraceable comments. You'll be less robotic, too.

@536767676533766 you can't compare filming live in daylight using audio-ins that come from a sound board versus studio filming where lighting, sound, and other factors are tightly monitored in a closed and controlled studio environment. why be so critical of someone else's video? geez it is what it is, being critical isn't going to fix anything lol
@BarryKunz6413 жыл бұрын
not putting the drummer down by any means . hes a very good drummer,, but the solo wasn't very exciting,it sounded like he was warming up or just practicing,,but hey I wasnt there so I have no i dea what the vibe was like. This song has so much "build" to it I just think it should have kept up the energy of the song and and maybe a little shorter. but again I wasnt there so I'll stfu now. ; )
@PTonyJr17 жыл бұрын
Cool video, Boney is the man; however, this video is a fraud. The first shot, he's playing a tenor, then he's playing an alto. You can't fool a saxophone player,SORRY!!!

I am sorry but that had to be the weakest drum solo ever. I mean when you get that much time to yourself you gotta let it rip.
