Christmas is a special time for me as my grandma died on Christmas day and my dad was buried the day after Christmas so this song makes me cry remembering all the Christmases of my childhood and the party's My parents would throw and opening presents at grandmas house I'm now 57 and I wish I could go back to those days just for an hour or two just to see my family again and the fun we had as kids at least I have the memories

This was my late husband’s favourite Christmas song. He died Dec 8 and my dog died 3 days before. This was in 2021. This year I’m better with the holidays it was very hard in 2021 and 2022. ❤

I love this time of the year. Xmas is very special. Whilst l lost both my parents when l was young l now have grandchildren to love. This song is one of my favorites and Boney M are one of my favourite groups. I wish everyone a happy and pleasant Xmas. I hope you thoroughly enjoy it. I was in grade nine when I was talking to my pastor about Christmas. He told me that Christmas was much older than I've been taught. He said that Christmas was started in Germania, an old gentleman saw that poor kids didn't get any gifts during the winter solstice and he decided that since he could afford to, he gave them gifts in secret during the night. . Then, as the years progressed, more people joined in. Christ wasn't at Christmas until the sixth century. That was long before this internet stuff that I was taught this, and I kept it stowed in my head. A few years ago, when people started getting offended by people saying Merry christmas I decided it was time to tell people.
