Many ate artisan made to order.. then every once in a while you can find a sleeper like the solid shell drums on ebay for cheap.

Damn... after further viewings, I am pretty sure I actually like the Manana's the best... Seemed to fill the space in the mix, just how I like... Buddy was in the zone on them Manana's... Groovin'.

I think I liked the Percs best here, but i like the CR's too... i'd be happy with any of the 3, but would prolly go with the Dominicans, since I LOVE bachata... i read an old post on congaplace, where u mentioned Bauer bongos... I believe u said they were medium sized, n had good sound... have u had many Bauers? What's the verdict on them? I'm living in Brasil, and Bauer/Raul can be had for reasonable prices... used Matadors cost what I make in a month...

Thanks for the kind words. I have had a few Bauer congas and one bongo. Very well made with great sound. The older ones ( rauls) made of cedar sound fantastic.
