Indians, Chinese, and Pakistanis are also coming to the UK through this route, but you will never see any of them saying things that will affect their countrymen or women, unlike our Nigerians, who just came to the UK since the route was opened a few years ago and have turned to online bloggers and immigration advisers. If those of us who came to the UK 10 or 20 years ago did what this useless guy did,he would not have had the opportunity to come to the UK.

Exactly! They succeeded in using us as slaves in the same way back in the 1400s. How we haven’t learnt the rules in their playbook is surprising. The rule by dividing and conquering. Check out how every country they colonised always suffered a civil war after they left. It is still going on today. Africans be wise. Indians have found the key and are using it silently. Why can’t we do the same?

Dr Emeka has lived amongst them and has learnt how they operate. That’s why he was able to speak like he did. Tiamiyu is a JJC who foolishly thinks that he has arrived just because BBC reached out to him. Instead of looking for the proverbial long fork to eat with the devil, he graciously walked there like sheep to the slaughter. Does he think he was the first person they contacted about it? After Dr Emeka, notice how they decided that the next person has to be someone daft enough to take the bait. We need to be smart and look every gift horse in the mouth when it comes to these people.

Why are they complaining after making £42bn from international students. I read this in the news. The UK government are complaining now after making £42bn from international students. This is what I read in the news last week The economic benefit international students bring to the UK has jumped by a third in three years, boosting the economy by an estimated £42bn in 2021/2, according to new analysis. The report, by analysts London Economics, said the economic benefit to the country rose from £31.3bn in 2018/9 to £41.9bn three years later as growing numbers of international students choose to study in the UK.

How can someone protest this action when our own kind have proven them right with receipts. We all know the truth but at least let us defend our own the same way dey defend their destruction which they have caused over the years. Defend your people in public and correct them indoors. This unnecessary interview can remove value to those who actually studied and worked hard.

We all know the truth that the man spoke up about publicly. We should not be so much bothered about one of us been bold enough to air our dirty laundry publicly. Rather, I would have loved if we are spending more time in addressing why someone like yourself had NO ALTERNATIVE from avoiding buying hand outs, and constant strikes, but had to leave the country in its entirety to study abroad! Let us spend our valuable time in addressing why people like you, and I, who want to come home are met with ash circumstances that caused us to run back to our slave masters! In this life, what do all human beings strive for? Number one is Security of their lives and properties . Then people want justice and Fairplay, basic and functioning infrastructures and peace of mind. These are the paramount essentials needed by people in every decent human society . Even animals need these. All the money and the luxuries in this world cannot replace these great blessings which are completely absent in Nigeria today. I left Nigeria for the UK to 32 years ago to study to Masters degree level, started working and then settled down here permanently . That was long before JAPA started. Relocating to the UK was the best decision of my life and I have never regretted it. JAPA to the UK is happening now because like back then when I came and till today , the UK has always been the number one choice destination for millions of immigrants to visit, to work, study and migrate to ; including even for Americans and Canadians and other nationals who desire to see the world.. Why is the UK so much preferred ? The people who have JAPAd or are planning to do so are not stupid, not mad or starving back home in Nigeria before they took their decisions to spend millions of naira to JAPA Forever. Who no like better thing? Nigerians know what is best for them. There is something truly great in the UK that is attracting millions of immigrants in a do-or-die race to enter and settle in the UK. Nigerians knew about the cold weather, the Afofuro work, racism high bills and high inflation in the UK ; yet they had chosen to relocate to the so- called "finished and dead" UK. For good reasons they did not choose Canada, USA, the EU or any other nation as their JAPA destination. These JAPA Nigerians are running away from Nigeria for their dear lives and for the chance of living in a decent ,fair and secured country with their families ! Who no like better thing? It is a big lie by those Nigerians who are consoling and deceiving themselves and other people by saying that " there is nothing great anymore but hard life for every body living in the UK !" How can anybody utter such fallacies? Take it or leave it. The truth which everybody who has either visited or lived in the UK for even one day knows is that ; however "terrible " life is in the UK, it is still 1000 ( yes one thousand! ) times better than living in a place like Nigeria. Nigeria is FINISHED with no hope of living , safe, secure and decent life for anybody living there except for the treasury looters and their families, their supporters in crime and their bootlickers! It is that better life that Nigerians and others are coming for in the UK. Hmm... Of course we know that some Nigerians are bitter against JAPA because they too have applied for UK Visas and residency permit to escape from Nigeria ; but unfortunately for them they have been rejected and denied the privilege and the honour of getting UK Visas and UK residency . Emdee Tiamiyu spoke the truth though he spoke unwisely to the BBC for Britons to confirm all the fraudulent and jagajaga characters of Nigerians which Britons are aware of already. The British people donot care if immigrants are enriching their national economy with trillions of pounds sterling. Britons like their space and organised lives. They hate fraud, dishonesty and unruly behaviour . Even before Tiamiyu spoke out , Britons had been complaining that the UK their small island nation has been over flooded by all sorts of millions of immigrants from many countries. Before Tiamiyu 's interview, Britons had been demanding that the UK government must cut down or stop the influx of foreigners and also send back the immigrants who have already entered the UK either legally or illegally. Or else this UK government will lose the next General election. The UK government is panicky about this threat! It is true that Nigerians DO NOT NEED the UK degrees and the types of work on offer for them here in the UK. Their main target is to pay for any type of visa to enable them enter and hopefully settle down with their dependants permanently in the UK. But this hope is impossible because UK residency is NOT FOR SALE . People can come to visit, to study and work in the UK and then they must return to their own countries. But to come in and settle down ? Not really. No doubt that Nigerians and other immigrants have abused the privilege of their UK visas by bringing their too many dependants and by getting involved in all sorts of fraud in order to enter and remain in the UK permanently. Thousands of Nigerians who have JAPAd in recent years are in Jail in the UK now ; because they refused to leave their bad characters behind in Nigeria. I was happy to see my people getting easy visas into the UK since after 2019 . But Sorry my people. As usual some of us have disgraced all of us by importing into the UK the notorious side of Nigerian characters . They have abused Visa privileges, overdone things and therefore all Nigerians have overstayed their welcome to JAPA to the UK to study and work . From now on there will be a lot of open and hidden restrictions against all foreign students and workers in the UK. Including Nigerians. Therefore Nigerians have to start thinking and planning of either how to JAPADA to our beloved Great Nigeria ; or you must decide to leave the UK for Canada, the USA , Australia, or wherever you like. The UK does not care where you choose to go. But remember that even these countries will soon copy UK immigration decisions. One day , they too will develop cold feet and decide to take drastic actions when they see too many immigrants and their dependants invading their well-planned countries.

I referenced this would happen when YT recommended of the so called video to me, few years ago. This Tiamiyu only echoed what is no longer a secret, was it not the former UK high commissioner to Nigeria, said japa on a platform in Nigeria before she left Nigeria. Nigerians should' blame our Nigerian politicians, the UK is no longer what it is but it is a bit better infrastructure wise compared to Nigeria. The black lady who said she paid a certain amount of money for her Nigerian sister to migrate to the UK, will open another can of worms in the future. Nigerians should vote right, the youths should change the society by campaigning for good governance. Most of us who have been in the UK for more than a decade with children in college and university would wish to see others have the same opportunity. In summary, he said the truth but he missed narrative which the BBC wants to soundbite. We should stem the youtube of how I came to the UK because government have eyes 👀 on the Web and we live in a volatile woke era that everything is discussed and shared fast

The BBC and the U.K. do not need to use anyone as a scapegoat in order to implement whatever policies that is in their best interest. This Emdee guy's face must have lit up, and he prolly was licking his lips at the prospects of boosting his profile with the BBC interview (news feature). In my opinion, it was all for clout and boosting self ego. Sadly it backfired.

The guy stands no chance with BBC interviewers. They are trained experts in getting click bait information. There is what's called a 5 seconds stare to get you to talk and even tell on yourself. A good example is the Cathy Newman, Jordan Perterson interview. It was brutal to watch. She set traps for him all night for a click bait. (Cathy went to Oxford with a first class), a lot of the interviewer are gifted prodigies turn evil geniuses. The average person have near zero chance against their ploy. BBC interviewers are one of the best at this sociopathic method of interviewing. They prime, make you feel comfortable before pouncing. Before you you know it you will fall for the psychological hack and start telling.

Exactly! Does this Tiamiyu dude think he was the first one they contacted? They must have done their reconnaissance for months, prowling around KZbin looking for a weak link to use as a scapegoat, and zeroed in on him like a lion does a deer. Idiot isn’t even willing to acknowledge that he allowed them to use him. So sad, but this is the advantage other marginalised ethic groups have over us black people. We all think we are smart, yet lack the vital component required to fight our problems - a sense of doing the collective good for our community.

What is the good deed in claiming (without data) that Nigerian students are not actually there to study. Do you know how many foreigners are in Nigeria without visa including Oyibo? Do you think Oyibo is god? You will wake up one day just like him. He is barely 1 year in the UK and already knows whats good and bad?

This dude was simply naive and high minded. It seems he doesn't know the gravity of what his "25 sec" has done to the opportunity of so many Nigerians looking to get a better life for themselve. BBC is not TVC or AIT, you dont go in unprepared, he fell for their trick just because he was looking for publicity. He got his publicity, and now let him deal with the aftermath.

He didn’t lie. The interview wasn’t smart but he didn’t lie. Also we can’t put all the blame on this one person. How many other videos are there on KZbin of Nigerians declaring that they are starting a new life in the UK with their dependants whilst on student visas. The fact is the government likely looked at the figure, saw how many dependant visas were being granted, saw the abuse and decided to put an end to it. Also remember that there will be an election in the UK this year and they always use immigration to score cheap points when it comes to election time.

Not everyone in the UK have come to stay or get a better life. Its sad anytime i see people generalising everyone. Some students already have the best life and have only come for a short course with plans to go back home and better their career. Infact, i know lots of Nigerians that went back home and doing well. It shallow mindedness that will make someone generalize. Most of these new generation of students have different agendas and motives but not applicable to everyone.

This is the problem of Nigeria. The truth is the truth, wherever its said, among your people or outside. Just take it for what it is. It's totally wrong to say Nigerians travel to study just to run out of the country, it's totally untrue. Nigerians abroad never lose touch with home, many come back to build houses, invest in businesses and take good care of their family back home. Majority of them are praying for Nigeria to become a better country so they can come back home. Traveling abroad is just creating opportunities for oneself which is not made available here, not that we're going to destroy the UK for the owners, NO man! You really messed up tiamiyu, you messed up. And you yourself stay there. why don't you come back home?
