Absotively. When I bought my copy of Okonokos back in 2007, it's the exact words I used as I played each track, leading up to this. As if it were "One Big Crescendo"... And all these years later..."It Still Moves" me.

Each time I hear the intro to this song a small part of me wants to quit my office job, lose 40 lbs, and learn how to cage fight. After a few minutes the dream fades and get back to work.

sunday afternoon. at the which stage. i posted up to see mm&w. my friend justin left me half way through to see david byrne. i thought at the time i should of went with him, being a big talking heads fan. mm&w wrapped up and i was going to make my way out. someone in the crowd noticed me leaving and prompted me to stay put, "the next band, my morning jacket is incredible". thank god i took that mans advice. this performance blew my mind and in the moment of this song i was brought to awe. thank you for posting this.

I remember this moment like it was yesterday. Bonnaroo is a long musical weekend and it had rained, it was hot as hell, and me and my friends were all sunburnt and exhausted by the time MMJ got on to perform. We had heard a few songs from At Dawn, but were just going to see them because Modest Mouse was playing after and one of my acquaintances at the time (now he's my life long bud) absolutely loved this band. We are all sitting on the ground, tired and ready to go home - and when MMJ came on stage, none of us stood up. We just sat there, being beat down by the weekend. Then... all of a sudden... the drums... the bass... and right when the guitar came in, I looked down and I was standing... I don't even remember doing it. I look to my left and then to my right, and all my friends were on their feet - magically summoned by the power of MMJ. This is still one of my best concert memories, ever. They f'n rocked it and I've been a die-hard MMJ fan for life since that iconic moment. *sigh* Bonnaroo used to be great. Oh, and for the record... Modest Mouse f'n sucked.

I saw them the previous year in 2003 when they opened for Pete Yorn, and Foo Fighters. They blew the roof off the place and the whole crowd was just standing their motionless and unimpressed. Fast forward to 2008 and they are closing Bonnaroo playing a 4 hour set. Its sad that the majority of people only respond positively to things that are already known or familiar. Whenever I see a new band I always try to give them the best attention. You never know how awesome they will be in 5 years.

I was joking, because on the screen it spells "Bonnar", and then uses a sort of loused up looking trinity symbol to represent the two Os which would ordinarily proceed in a regular font with a more formal spelling of the name. I'm sorry, is that how you use two Os in conjoint? I can't really find it, but I.E., would you write"Hm. I do believe I'll be a p∞p face today"?
