+max penrose Yes. The BBC/UK TOP GEAR was the ONE and ONLY ! The "USA Top Gear version" isn't worth one second of your time. It STINKS ! And now... sadly... the "ORIGINAL" is no more... which means, the "original Top Gear" now STINKS. Unbelievable ! I NEVER would have thought I'd be saying that about "Top Gear". I'm from the USA. The fact that "TOP GEAR"... hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond is no longer broadcast, is like losing good friends. It is a lousy feeling of EMPTINESS and BETRAYAL. This really makes me, and probably you too, as well... wonder what the hell is wrong with the BBC... as much as it does, angry and disgusted.

This is what I loved about Top Gear: spectacular cars, enthusiasm, races, sweat, some infos about cars and true emotions of the presenters, like Clarkson truly astonished when he reaches his target. You may complain about the fact that Top Gear will never be like this, but I think that the old presenters won't be either.
@Snarl6163 жыл бұрын
@valleywoodworker I've seen the TGT episode where they try to build a reef and I almost wished they died. It wasn't funny at all, they looked like three dumbasses and Hammond says that he can't swim when it's been seen in the TG episodes that he could.
@LittleCrowYT3 жыл бұрын
@@Snarl616 grand tour is what happens when Amazon threw too much money at them, gave them free reign, and they couldn't use a lot of the stuff from Top Gear. I think if they approached Grand Tour as three friends that wanted to share their love of cars, instead of three kids that just received a massive payday, it could have been even better than Top Gear. But as it stands, that Era of Top Gear was lightning in a bottle, and no other car related media is gonna come close for a while. Even Full Throttle, as great as it is, is still missing that sense of adventure that Top Gear had.

5:05... I have never been on salt, but less air is for traction in sand and the "growing" concept is for drag racing. For top speed, traction becomes secondary as You are already rolling. Over inflating the tire buldges the tread surface at the center thus reducing the contact patch resulting in less friction which reduces rolling resistance.
