Bonnie Hunt Talks 'Amber Brown' Series, Loss Of Her Mother

Actor Bonnie Hunt joins the 3rd Hour of TODAY to talk about stepping behind the camera to direct the new Apple TV+ series “Amber Brown”. She also takes a moment to send love to her niece who is a cancer patient, and tearfully remembers her mother. “A part of me will always be grieving the loss of my mom,” she says.

Bonnie! I have so missed you! I am a nurse. When I first started working from home as a Disease Management / Case Management nurse I timed my lunch (6 hrs into my 10 hrs shift) so I could watch your show. Bonnie is one of the most talented people to ever grace show business and when she lends that talent to different projects it is a source of joy. I adored her talk show and she featured her mom Alice in pretty much every episode. It's obvious she got a lot of her humor from her mom, and I am so sorry to hear that she passed!
