You know what's hilarious about this? She's on his ass because he owes $15 for the doctor bill, but just casually hands him a $150 rifle and says, "Keep it." Girl, please. If you want that gunslinging ass, just say so.😂

The story hooked me but the missions became too tedious to bear. Such a shame because it deflates from an otherwise great game. The strength of the Red Dead games are the detailed open world and the story. Two things that are hard to connect together without inserting obligatory, tedious hand-holding on the rails “missions” that have you following GPS to a set location and just going through the motions. I don’t even know what the solution is because there’s such a huge chasm between open world game design and the linear scripted stuff🤷🏻♂️ I think it’s why I enjoyed side quests, bounty hunting, legendary animals and even fishing. It just feels more interactive with the in-game environment instead of “go here, exactly here, otherwise MISSION FAILED” 😂

@CursedWheelieBin Жыл бұрын
@@meeeeeeeee8249I’d have to politely disagree but only because there’s clear and proven potential to make it greater considering the heights that RDR2 reached with its story and open world setting. The interactive and almost meritocratic nature of gaming and consumer culture makes it way more apparent. In other words: when sequels are better than their predecessors, it’s very noticeable when you go back and replay them. Even just riding a horse in the sequel is far more enjoyable than in the original because there’s more depth and complexity to it. Not to mention there was far more to do outside of the main story to encourage exploration and really immerse yourself in the - albeit artificial - world that Rockstar built. I never imagined I’d enjoy a fishing mini game or hunting but that’s probably what I enjoyed the most. RDR2 addressed some of the monotony of the repetitive mission structure ie. Gallop beside someone, blah blah blah, pew pew pew, rinse and repeat. That being said: the dialogue is perfect in RDR1 just as it is. The cadence, rhythm, and delivery of every line can’t be replicated. They tried that with “The Twin Snakes” and it was abysmal
