This is for Norah J. for the moment. There are many musicians I had just ignored for a lifetime .. just because ... I dunno. You were one. And can you believe it ....Dylan. Then 2 yrs ago, I watched and beard a few things via youtube and have been obsessed since. I'd say I caught up to about 500 songs. ( I'm a muscian). It's pretty much 24/7 dylan. Then the other day you and he popped on youtube with your duet of I shall be released. I knew your name, of course, but it was the first time I heard and watched you. My goodness !!!!! I was absolutely enchanted.!!! How beautifully you Blended w dylan and made your voice and style magnificent. too .... and you were adorable with that foot tapping in time. And he was a perfect gentleman ..as always. Anyway, I looked you up .. I heard many songs .... but I noticed some did not seem to Thrill you. You are a great piano player,,,,I'm so happy to find out ... but I say this to you,,,, your voice sends chills up my spine ☆☆☆ but ,,, please ,,,always sing songs that send you up the roof... So here's another duet. Just gorgeous. Then I heard a half duet with you and Neil Young. Exciting, also. I used to think ..that only Patti Smith was ok in my mind singing dylan songs,,,,but I believe you,,,, CAN. I always go to Christmas songs as a sort of test. I played you doing White Christmas ....stunning. PLEASE PLEASE ONLY SING SONGS THAT THRILL YOU.!!!!! janepiepes@gmail.com ( #Themusicalityofbdylan) my channel has lots of things going on...kind of chaotic But I'm proudest of the 25 Originals I wrote a long time ago. Album= Citizens of Angular Space. ( also a song ) m.kzbin.info/door/X0nvMSL1ra8BAmJ-SaahuQ

Well it's obvious to me: she has no self-confidence at all. She's like a scared little girl alongside Bonnie Raitt. There are plenty of others like this - great musicians who get mentored by a world class player but who really can't make it on their own (for example, Robert Cray with Eric Clapton).

It's definitely a great version of 2 great, beautiful artists in Bonnie & Norah. However, Tennessee Waltz goes much further back than the 70's. The Ladies to thank first who made this song a timeless classic are Patti Page,Connie Francis, & Patsy Cline, along with Hank Williams, & Elvis Presley! This song has been recorded and covered by over 300 artists in music.

Throughout time there have been distinctive voices that were never captured. The future probably holds wonders, but right now I am so undeniably happy to have KZbin--with, in Bonnie Raitt's and Norah Jones' time and the collaboration between the later two, this song with those voices each singular on its own--offer a such a sweet preservation. Sometimes listening is enough. Thank you ladies.
