Time is such a cruel mistress. 13 years later, and I look at a comment from my past self. I hope there will always be one constant, I know it sounds selfish, but that this amazing voice this cherished gift to any who happen to be fortunate enough to find her, will always be in this world. In however many years it should be and I come back as a ghost, I hope to pass by some place, some day, and hear that wonderful sound floating my way. And let it be, forever, until the breaking of the world or longer, if that's possible. Even should the woman it belongs to ultimately perish, as we all must I guess. Still, the thought of that day fills me with more dread than my own mortality. Apologies to anyone if this comment gets you down. Great music lives forever.

Norah Jones, baby, you helped see that there's more to life than punk rock, drinking, and gang-fights. This music makes me feel grown up. Not like, mortgage payments, banality, and learning a convincing fake smile, no. Like appreciating the worldly, not getting stuck in the inconsequential, and cooking breakfast for my best girl on a Sunday morning. Thanks, Ms. Jones.

She is such a simple and natural beauty but yet her voice is so unique! Honestly, there really aren't much artist nowadays that can compare to Norah Jones. I'm not afraid to compare Norah Jones with Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald, she might not be better than them but there's something about Norah's style in music that reflects true classic jazz./blues icons, especially her voice! Plus, she have worked with many iconic musicians like Ray Charles and Willie Nelson. She's such an inspiration!

This is a powerful song. It hurts to care for someone who doesn't care for u enough to be honest with u. It leaves u hurting and sad. I remember telling an ex that I could answer all your questions but it would only create more. Dan sure hurts to be on the receiving end of that statement. Doesn't make the hurt go away.

I heard she sang a good song, I heard she had a style. And so I came to see her and listen for a while. And there she was this young girl, a stranger to my eyes. Strumming my pain with her fingers, Singing my life with her words, Killing me softly with her song, Killing me softly with her song, Telling my whole life with her words, Killing me softly with her song I felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd, I felt she found my letters and read each one out loud. I prayed that she would finish but she just kept right on. Strumming my pain with her fingers, Singing my life with her words, Killing me softly with her song, Killing me softly with her song, Telling my whole life with her words, Killing me softly with her song She sang as if she knew me…
