So true. Some musicians can emote through their instruments, and Hornsby is definitely one of them. I recently listened to an old Journey song, Send Her My Love, and Neil Schon does the same thing with an electric guitar (not an instrument you think of as emotional lol) in that song. The guitar solo sounds almost wistful.

SO much soul - NO one can rock the Blues like she does!! SO much nuance to her voice (and to her guitar playing - check out some of her other live videos*) - she is SUCH a treasure!! ...SO Real!!! Bruce Hornsby played beautifully and was fully featured (btw. he started as Linda Ronstadts pianist) but yet again Bonnie missed the chance to demo her lead guitarist /slide guitar mastery on an important occasion of record. Like many great women she is naive about self promotion/ getting full recognition for real talent. This was definitely the place for that.
