@@BonnieBayCrochet I meant to ask you how you liked working with Marly Birds Chic Sheep yarn ?? I’ve never bought that type yarn but it looks like it’s very soft and smooth to work with . It’s also still on sale at Herrschners for 3.99$ . So I thought I would ask you how you liked before I bought it !! Have a wonderful day !!
@BonnieBayCrochet4 жыл бұрын
@@NS-bu7lc I personally like it a lot, but you do need to be very careful about washing anything made of superwash wool. Just to let you know, I work as an independent designer (i.e. yarn companies don't own me or pay me to say what I like), and generally try to work with yarn that I personally enjoy. This yarn has beautiful drape and excellent stitch definition. I don't think you will be disappointed. I may even check out that sale! Thanks for letting me know Neana!

Hi Bonnie! As usual, another beautiful pattern and a wonderful tutorial! Thank you so much! One suggestion for a future tutorial - I would love to learn a pattern from start to finish including the blocking of that finished work. I have viewed your current tutorials for blocking and while they are great, seeing one for a project such as this would be helpful. Blocking has been harder to find a good variety of tutorials for especially for larger items like afghans etc. I am certain you have a lot of knowledge and experience we would could learn from. Love your work Bonnie and feel blessed to have found you! Thank you!
@BonnieBayCrochet4 жыл бұрын
I do have a couple of videos where I show blocking and I'll list them here. Honestly, I didn't need to block this design and it is something I rarely need to do with crochet. Knitting is another story though! Here's that video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXuvlnSsaZaNl7s. The blocking instructions begins at around 22:00 minutes in the video.

@BonnieBayCrochet4 жыл бұрын
You can easily make this wider by adding extra wattle stitches on each side. Just add 4 chains to the existing starting chain for each wattle stitch you wish to add on each side of the cable (4 additional chains for 2 wattle stitches - one on each side).

In row.6 why do you skipi 2 stitches between the second set of wattles and tbe basket weave?
@BonnieBayCrochet Жыл бұрын
Great question Leanne. This is to maintain the ribbing/basketweave pattern at the end of the row. This will continue the symmetrical look of the scarf.

You mentioned how you like to go under the one loop (side) of the foundation chain "v". I always thought you had to go under both loops of the "v".

Yes Chalice, use fewer wattle stitches on the side. Simply decrease the starting chain by multiples of four for each wattle stitch removed (1 from each side =4 stitches removed in starting chain).
