Bonnie I wonder if you put a small amount of wood filler in a tub and mix with some stain before you apply it, whether that is worth a try... 🤔 loved all of these, but my fav is the lamp 😊

LOVED THEM ALL!!! The 2nd one reminds my of a riser tray or foundation for any wood blank with higher edge around the surface which I will be making great idea way you did for a great heavy wood surface of course probably lay so like a wood floor or four one way and four another to give different style if makes sense. Love the 3rd one too and so looks lighter then walnut on my phone so much more like golden old so beautiful.
