I originally wanted a clothesline or rack for outside, however, the no scans are so bad that I don’t want them outside and possibly bring them inside our RV. Unless you have been here and understand, just how invasive they are, we just won’t understand. It’s also really windy and I didn’t want any of our clothes blowing away

You could hand your clothes on a hanger to dry and put them on the rod. You could fit a lot more clothes that way

Bonnie, you always make me laugh, that is why I have watched you channel since Boston was less than 2 years old! You are so down to earth and a “real family” with great kids. I love doing laundry! I know that sounds strange, my daughter always calls me, my sister as well, to figure out how to get stains out of clothes and how to make white shirts and tee-shirts not turn yellow under the arms and shirts that are white at the wrists. When my kids were in private school (ages ago, they are 35 and 29), they wore white uniform polo shirts 4 days a week and one day a week a long sleeve collared shirt for Mass. I found that Borax was a miracle to keep shirts absolutely white! You wash it then hang it dry in the sunlight. Also, for colored clothes, Biz is awesome as well at removing stains. The reason I am mentioning Borax, is that you don’t have to spray every shirt with a stain remover. Try it on one shirt and see what you think, it will save you a ton of time. You are absolutely correct about the way clothes turn out when you put tee-shirts in the dryer and other type of shirts. Over time they fade, shrink and get that boxed type of shape. The shirts also, don’t last as long. Ok, enough of my commentary, as per usual, it is too long. 😊

You definitely need an outdoor clothesline! You're in Florida so it's the perfect place to dry them. It's the norm in the UK, we have a little collapsible carousel one for our motorhome, you just hammer it into the ground.

Would a foldable standing drying rack work better? At least holds more clothes. You could put it inside the shower when needed and since they collapse really thin, you could collapse it and shove it inside the closet when not in use. They are pretty common in Europe since we don’t use dryers.

it just stunned on me that your washer or dryer is making that noice because its stacked. Our dryer does the same when we have stuff on top of it. I always wanted stack machines for space but I wonder if they all do that just dont notice it as much in a house

We live in Savannah, GA and the humidity is bad here... We bought a dehumidifier to use in our bathrooms after showering and I also use it in the room where I hang my clothes to dry that I don't put in the dryer. It works really great!

we do nothing but air dry in Australia, using a dryer is only for if we get a weeks worth of rain lol. i have a miniature clothes line that looks and works just like an outside clothes line for when we go on a road trip in our caravan , its so cute and holds a lot. thankyou for the idea of the tension rod in the shower , I have been looking for a solution for our shower in our caravan 🙂

In New Zealand most people dry clothes outside on clothes line when possible and just keep the dryer for wet days as it’s so much better for your clothes, I hate how the shape is ruined by the dryer also.

Bonnie use a darker color rash guard but the brand O’Neil. It’s a famous surf brand and was the first to invent the wetsuit. They are not see through and hold up very well, awesome made products for ocean/beach life

Great tips!! Love your organization!! I use command hooks for my hats and things in my RV but I don't have the option for the rod. Our shower is a corner. How can I configure that one??! As for hanging clothes from the washer, I do the same thing but my kids/family do not and drives me mad because I don't like to fully dry my cottons or spandex leggings.. When they pull the clothes out of the washer, they throw everything in the dryer without telling me they have laundry to do 😒. Even though I have said this multiple times!! 😢. Teenagers... And then when clothes are done in the dryer and they thing they are helping they just pull everything in a wad and throw them into a laundry basket instead of the way I pull the hanging polo shirts and khakis of my husband's work clothes and hang over the dryer door until I get the other items out and then lay the "to be hung clothes" on the basket to take upstairs! As a mom, a take care and enjoyment into doing my laundry. ❤

You all should get you a hydropondics growing system when you get back home. You could grow your own herbs and vegetables inside your house with little effort. Then you could take some of those pineberry seeds and grow your own. My son in law makes homemade hydropondics systems and the vegetables he grows are phenomenal. It would be puttingt natural oxygen filtration in your house w/ no pests or pesicides. You grow healthy food while boosting your mood to watch things grow. :)

The pineberries are pretty good! Plant city is known as the winter strawberry capital of the world. (I’m definitely not biased because I grew up there 😂 I really love our strawberries) You guys should definitely make a stop at Parksdale Farm market for strawberry shortcake or their milkshakes that’s made out of real strawberries. Also February 29th- March 10th is Florida Strawberry festival if you guys are still around and want to check it out. It’s been a huge celebration/ festival since 1930 except for during world war 2. Warm welcome to Florida ❤️🍓

I remember when I was really little my mom and great aunt took us to pick strawberries. I was behind my mom, as she was throwing them in a big bucket, I was covered eating them. My great aunt laughed and told my mom. They carried on picking ❤ Those memories I cherish because now they are both gone.
