The second single from our self titled debut album, released on Cuculi Records. Bonny Boy is a sensitive re-work of a traditional song from the British Isles which unfolds into an original jig. Filmed, directed and edited by the inimitable Don Shades, with the incredible Deniz Kavalali on second camera and assisting. Grading by the legendary Alberto Balázs.
Huge thanks to Eggy Joel and co at The Cock Tavern on Mare Street, London for letting us film in your brilliant pub - We highly recommend a visit.

Lyrics:
There once was a boy, a bonny bonny boy
And I loved him I vow and protest
I loved him so well, so very very well
That I built him a bower on my breast
That I built him a bower on my breast
It was o’er the green valley and o’er the green hill
Like one who is troubled in mind
I whooped and I shouted and I played upon my pipe
But no bonny boy did I find
But no bonny boy did I find
I sat myself down on the green mossy bank
Where the sun it shone wonderful warm
And who should I spy but my own bonny boy
He was locked in another’s arms
He was locked in another’s arms
Now the one who’s the joy of my own bonny boy
Well I wish them the very best
And whether he loves me or whether he don’t
I’ll walk with that boy now and then
I’ll walk with that boy now and then
