I remember I got a solo in this beautiful piece because no other tenor would show up to rehearsals so my director gave me a solo in the song the day before the concert, he also selected a few students to sing as a small group in the song because again not a a lot of guys showed up for rehearsal. The song still turned out great and is one of my favorites
