Phenomenal video series. I'm a novice, and a hobbyist. When I take on something I like to ingest everything I can. I've read multiple books sifted through hours of crap on KZbin and butchered a few junipers. Not to mention spent hundred of dollars with a bunch of over pruned ugly trees to show for it. This though. I live in the boonies with no clubs in a two hour radius. This though. I finally feel like I can begin. Thank you so much!

bonsai is special, there are thousand ways to achieve a nearly identical result "at the end" :D i go complete different ways than you :D i always bare root the tree and cut the major unwanted root(s) after buying as a first step, so you hadn't spend another year of thickening up completely unwanted roots... but seems i'm more of the risky side guy xD
