Fantastic job. A true artist. I just tried my first try at wiring. Only a few branches to see if I can get the handle of it without over stressing the tree. I am curious on how to know which size wire will work best for certain branches. Do you have a wire diameter to branch diameter ratio? Or just by experience? I only have about 6 sizes of wire for beginners work, but most of my trees are still VERY young. I only have a couple that are older. Is aluminum used here? Or was there copper as well? I have annealed aluminum and some copper. I would think the biggest ( thickest) branches may have used copper since its a harder wire, even when annealed? Or was all of this aluminum? As easily as the wire was shapeable, I was thinking all aluminum. It takes a long time to be able to see this kind of potential in a stock material. I am NOT there yet. Thank you for the demonstration, as a student, I need all the help and info I can get.

+Bonsai Empire Hey, i`m new in this. Why do you use the wire for?
@internalmartialpath9 жыл бұрын
How long before you can remove the wire?
@bonsaiempire9 жыл бұрын
Jean-Paul Phan Depends on how well the tree grows. A few months probably.
@ericbrown47619 жыл бұрын
Let the tree tell you when to remove the wire. There is no set time. The more growth the branch has, the quicker they will set. When you see the branch beginning to swell around the wire, take it off. If the branch hasn't completely set, rewire it but coil the wire in the opposite direction than you did the first time. This will help you avoid the wire marks. I have left wire on my trees for up to, and even longer than a year without the first scar.

***** ?? You mean Bonsai tree Compare me with nature , i am nothing look at the sea the big trees those are beautiful not me. Humans are only flesh nothing more we live mostly 70 years, trees the sea all nature are forever .
@sebastiansupel62208 жыл бұрын
I love how all the amateurs step in and say it's abusing nature and why you have to use wire. The tree will live longer than your entire family tree most likely. Also, do you cut your grass and weed the garden? If so, please don't open your ignorant mouths and do some research so you understand.
