Bonsai Garden Tour - Part 2/3

My monkey pole section which I’m thinking of moving more toward for display versus bonsai benches. They highlight the bonsai better and give them a better viewing experience. Nice work! I like to see no nonsense with no native species. Cool trunk on that maple ! One more cement tip : Add wood glue(the white suff) Will stop it from flowing. So it becomes almost like a modelling clay. Cheers !

Sweet tip on the cement. I imagine that would help with the cracking as well. Thanks for the tip. I haven’t made a container in a few years as I’m trying to gather more info and get some more free time before I start making more.

Thanks for showing the nice bonsai trees👍👍 I like the rosemary the most because I still remember what it looked like in the first video and over time it has really developed into a real little bonsai, amazing keep it up💪

Thanks, I appreciate my long term followers. It gives me motivation to keep posting and continuing with my bonsai journey. The rosemary will be brought indoors again for the season, as the other two have perished when I left them outside. I wonder if it will continue to survive without a dormant period? 😀👍 thanks for the thoughtful post.

​@@kootenaybonsaicanada You're welcome👍😁, I also have a rosemary and I think you're right, it wouldn't survive without a dormant period where you put it indoors over the winter, I think maybe the old ones planted in the ground can maybe survive outside, I mean, I planted mine in the ground 2 years ago and am currently picking some cuttings to make more rosemary plants from them 👍

Hi Chris... you just mentioned Dan... I was in his garden last Summer and there is nothing but gnarly deciduous trees in there (of course in addition to even gnarlier conifers ;)... Your Maple would fit in there no problem. Needless to say I really liked these trees a lot. I am sure your trees will get there someday as well...
