Nice! Thanks for sharing. I also love going into nature and nerding over the beauty of trees. Great inspiration to use on our own bonsai.

Ben Look like some awesome yamadori Tree you Found! Will you be going Back to Havest them when time Is Right?
@BenBSeattle21 күн бұрын
I wish, some of them are better left there for others to enjoy as well. I like to go for trees that won't be missed. Smaller medium size little guys that have no commercial value that I can play with.

Just wondering where is this exactly? I would like to go.

Looks like the Route to Lake Tahoe or Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass. I felt like I finally understood the bonsai aesthetic when I saw those beautiful trees.

Genuine question: Do Americans spell Latin names for Juniper trees as Juniperis, or was that a spelling mistake right at the top of the vid?
@BenBSeattle17 күн бұрын
if there's any misspellings blame it on my grossly underpaid editor: his name is Ben too ;)
@markherron306717 күн бұрын
@BenBSeattle when you spell Aluminium the way you guys do, you always gotta check 😀

Bonsai is creating a prefect tree in their perfect world. You go to the wild and they look like shit yet bonsai pros tell whats perfect 😅
