Very nice tree! The quality of nursery material you get is outstanding. You have a very good eye to spot them. Well done.

I love your videos! The pest control is a great tip, I just bought BioAdvanced from the store before watching this video! I hope it works well!!!

James Peters thank you! It works well with my trees. Late spring and summer supposed to be the best look for the trees, but the aphids and miter bugs ruins it, but with the bioadvanced it makes them the way it should be.

Hi Mel! Frank from San Pedro. I would like to ask you when do you start fertilizing there in Lake Elsinore. Or do you continue throughout the year. Thank you and stay safe.

Hi Frank, the Bayer bioadvance pesticide actually have nitrogen so I already have started. You can start fertilizing now until the fall. Stay safe too!

Beautiful find Mel, it’s off to a great start. Could you please give more specific details regarding your after care following such a dramatic repotting. Thanks

Matt Brennan thank you ! After repotting i put the trees in a bright but shaded spot. With a just a little ray of sun. Because before i have an experience of putting it in a normal place and the tree didn’t make it, so when i put them in a shade they have more chance of not dying. But i make sure they are always moist and watering them frequently. Oh, months ago in the winter before repotting i already applied the systemic pesticide so they are already protected from the pest. That’s about it, as long as you leave a lot of feeder roots when repotted, they will survive.

Hai sir, what do you use for potting Soil?
@lakeelsinorebonsai1203
@lakeelsinorebonsai1203 3 жыл бұрын
Hello, I use what is available in my area. Clay, lava rock, pumice and crushed granite. Like 30-30-30-10. The three holds water and the crushed granite sharp edges splits the roots to a more smaller feeder roots.

How old do you think it is ?
@lakeelsinorebonsai1203
@lakeelsinorebonsai1203 3 жыл бұрын
I think it’s 10 to 15 years old, maybe maybe more. I have one planted on the ground for 7 years and still as skinny as it is, maybe 1 1/2 inch trunk. But it’s a really bad soil and location
