I appreciate this video because I get to study every angle and see every little nook and cranny of the trees. When you view them at an exhibition you cannot get that close. I don't view this as Bonsai pornography. I find that silly and childish. I am trying to learn how to train the branches and this cinematography gives me the views and angles I wish to see. That being said, some people do need to see that you must water these trees gently and so forth. Some people manhandle specimens and hurting them and then wonder why they've died. Some of these could be older than you're family combined so yes they deserve good photography.

I have a few Rosemary bushes that have become Bonsai and Topiary for some very old Ivy outdoors. The Rosemary has to remain indoors for the Winters poor babes! lol. But they look lovely with their bark because they're naturally pines? I think that maybe true. ext time I have a small Japanese red maple two of them but am taking my time trying to figure correct angles. Some of the older ones I've seen are just beautiful! I would hope to train as many herbs as possible into Bonsai and small fruit such as figs and lemons.

Hey everybody, So I've just watched a lot of videos about bonsai and I think I'm gonna start growing one using cypress cuttings. I know that I'll have to let them grow for a year or so before I start training them but I still have two questions: 1. Do Bonsai trees have to be repotted every few years since the pots contain so little soil? 2. I want to achieve a specific look with the cypress, I will try to have the trunk bent righ at the bottom (how could I achieve that?) and only have a few (3-5), bigger branches coming out on the sides each holding onto a bigger bush of leaves (or needles since its a cypress 😅) so I was wondering if it is possible to wire together two smaller braches that are close to each other and kntertwine them into one bigger branch?
