It will depend on the groth of the tree and on the spicies. This one is totally fused now.

You can use sealing cement. Or any kinds of cut mark sealer from the market. If can't possibly for the lockdown period, you can use melted wax as a sealer. Japanise sealing cut pest is the best. Can buy from Amazon, though its expensive(more than 3000 bucks for 80 gm) Thank you

Can i use the sealant used in leaking water tubes for this? And is it better to use cling wrap instead? Or can i use the glue used for wood joints and furnitures?

Sealant can be use(if not harmfull for your tree), but not that adhesive. Cause this adhesive isn't waterproof.

This technique can be applied for all spicies, which has a thick bark. Cause the cambium tissue can heal the wound very quickly in that case.

Fevicol is not recommended, cause it will desolve in water. If you can't find any sealing cement you can use melted wax as a sealing agent.

Bonsai is one of the most cruel aspect of gardening. Only people with deformed mind can do that. If some say that humans in deformed form will b a decocorative piece to adorn our homes, what will b your reaction. Keeping bonsai only by cutting is still acceptable, but not deforming. Infact it brings curse to the place where such pcs are kept.

Firstly wanna say, thank you very very much for sharing your personal view. By the way, pain or sence can be feel for neurons and obviously for the matters of the brain. I think, tree hasn't none of them. So just forget about the pain and feeling. I think making bonsai is better than to destroy the plantation for human civilization. And for beauty... to get a cool and peacefull mind in our mechanical life. And about the deformation... if any object can be deform(without harming it or by giving pain) to get a cool satisfaction of a peacefull mind, i think its the best gift of an artist to all the human beings. And about curse.... i think all the human beings has a fooding habit, depending on plants or animals. So i think you are also cursed for your fooding habit.
