Yes, they can still play for their current school. None if these kids officially leave their current school and are off scholarship until their academic semester is over and they begin classes at their next schools. Since the new semester doesn't start until January, these players could play for NIU. But will their new school tell them if they get injured they will pull the scholarship offer?
