Cos she had a stable childhood. Her parents are together, she has a good relationship with them. Anyone whos a product of a dysfunctional marriage, has an unhappy mother or father or an absent one, or had a parent they lost when they were still a child, it fucks you up.

Alyssa, great job on this interview. I appreciate how empathetic you are and asked all the best questions. I feel bad about how people have been attacking Shayne, who may need some therapy to deal with the death of his dad and to help with communication but is not a bad guy. I went from thinking there was no way this couple would work to really wanting them to work once we saw them in real life (especially Chicago), but communication issues can take years to work out so I get it if that ship has sailed. Hopefully, they both end up happy!

There were a lot of good things about Shayne even if he had a volatile personality. I was sad they broke up but I believe it was for the best. Remember Natalie's mom warned Shayne she held stuff in and was stubborn. He is very spontaneous and emotionally honest and needy. I agree love is not enough. You have to have 💯 trust in the other and respect too.

He has a good heart, but I think he likely trusts people way to quickly. Shaina would have completely manipulated him. He dodged such a huge bullet.

I like Shane’s mannerism. He reminds me of a good friend of mine. Very extroverted and attentive in the moment. His facial expressions are lively and wears his emotions on his sleeve. And he wears it like a badge of honor. Good on him.

I can imagine he felt he wasn't good enough because of normal important discussions couples have before marriage. What a man child.
