Andrew Huang is an absolute virtuoso, and their music is spellbindingly atmospheric. The Journey to the Microcosmos soundtrack feels like it would be right at home in a thatgamecompany or Subnautica soundtrack.

I really do like how different the composition is, I'm heading into composing for video games and this channel has inspired so many new frontiers of sound for my work with virtual instruments, especially for moods I never really knew how to achieve with just strings or choir or piano. Edit: This footage is also just the most beautiful thing thank you guys so much for adding all you do my life and others. 👍🤙

It's a real testament to James' skill as a microscopist, and the tools & techniques that he's developed! I'm so glad that this channel exists & grew up in order to provide the support necessary to allow James to develop his techniques with more equipment, and also glad that we get to see the marvellous results!
@Nobody-Nowhere3 жыл бұрын
its exactly because of the limitations, meaning it has a really short depth of field that creates the 3d effect. microscope lenses have really large apertures to avoid diffraction.
