It's a very easy LARP to get into. In fact it was a LARP written for people who hate battle math so we use a flag system that is very simplified. Also, the rule system is open source so YOU could start your very own AW in the UK!

About 2 years ago I got very interested in guns and randomly a review of the module by coop and after that I became very interested in nerf and after that I watched coop to the drag and then I saw a video called can It take a k26 and after that you have honestly became my favorite nerf KZbinr and I am always entertained by all your videos and I have went back and watch a great number of your videos and I think that you are the most underrated KZbinr in the nerf community

I tried to get an NPC role this year but got rejected. Which is perfectly understandable. Let one KZbinr play an immortal killing machine and they will all want to. WvZ really only had the two KZbinrs and we were both NPCs. Endwar has a lot more KZbinrs at it.

It really is a blast! I did not get a whole lot of good footage because honestly I did not actually see much action and when I did I rarely had time to turn on the camera first. You would need a dozen camera crews running all over the Waste to capture even a fraction of all that happens in the space of 48 hours. The world is SO rich in lore and action it is staggering. I actually played a relatively minor role in the grand scheme of things.

Who knows, maybe one year they could commission a documentary or something, and have non-combatant journalists follow around a group to chronicle daily life in the apocalypse? I'd love to see a ken burns style documentary on afterworlds, that'd be awesome.

Oh man oh man oh man I wanna NPC for that so bad. I often find video never does larp as much justice as photos since most of the magic comes from the emotions and watching it in 3rd person just isn't the same as being in it but seeing it from your 1st person perspective helps immerse the watcher way more! Many larps have dedicated camera people just taking pictures secretly which that can capture the feeling of the larp but its really hard to do any type of filming or photography easily at the majority of larps since it kind a breaks immersion for anything besides post-apocalyptic or other modern settings. When smaller high quality cameras are more affordable I can see tons of people using them for larp cause it is just so cool being IN the fight and not just watching it.

Also, I don't know if the creator is aware, but they have essentially made an American-European hybrid larp. American larps often use boffer instead of latex weapons like the Europeans use (I think boffer is a bit immersion breaking and most latex weapons are just as safe if not safer than boffer). But the game play is much simpler and often more focused on role playing like nordic style larps. American larp is based more on table top role play games while nordic larp is more like improv theater. I am all for making the rules and combat simpler in favor of a more role play heavy story :)

There was a game like that outside of Seattle but it was supper hero themed and my friend wade played a version of Deadpool that reminds me of that character except he would do worse he would befriend them but at any moment he chose would open fire and kill all of the team then try to go find another team the only way to avoid being killed is either giving him your most powerful weapon or pay him 100 bottle caps

hey cap, you should make a smaller ammo tank for tear that can be mounted to the side of the blaster with a coupler to connect to the input so you can have a lighter weight alternative instead of having to carry the backpack all the time

No, I brought my own ammo because I was an NPC (this is, indeed explained in the video). Normal players have to "make" or "buy" ammo in game. As and NPC I did not have to because my character did not technically use "ammo." I WAS the gun, I made the ammo as I fired...kinda...
