What fun for you crafting with your grandson, glad to meet you Anthony. BTW … this was a great color theory teaching opportunity … when selecting colors if you stay within either the warm color family or the cool color family your colors will usually blend beautifully. if you mix cool (blue) with warm (orange) you will often get a shade of brown (mud) as they are complimentary colors on the opposite sides of the color wheel which often look more pleasing next to each other than mixed. Also note that if very small amount of a complimentary color is added it grays down the original color often in a pleasing way. Hope Anthony comes back sometime to craft with us again.

I'm so sorry about your wrist! Who knew crafting was such a hazardous occupation! Watching you with Anthony made want to share my crafting buddy with you - my 12 year old granddaughter, Holly, has become quite the junk journal maker. She started right after I did - about 5 months ago. I have made three journals and she has made 18. AND she has sold three of them to people her mom works with. They are naked journals with tea dyed and Rit dyed paper in them. One of the women even paid her $100 because she was so impressed with Holly's paper dying and the workmanship of the book! Okay ... but here's the part I really wanted to tell you. I am always saying "Gayle says this" and "Gayle says that" and "this is how Gayle does it". One day she asked "Who IS Gayle??" My daughter was there and she told Holly that Gayle was my imaginary friend from KZbin. Now the whole family makes fun of me (all in fun). My son will whisper "Is Gayle here now?" My daughter won't sit down before asking "is Gayle sitting in this spot?" And a couple of days ago Holly was waving a paper around to dry some ink. When I glanced at her, she said she was fanning Gayle because Gayle had said she was warm. Boy, are they going to be surprised when I set a place for you at the table on Thanksgiving!

I wondered when you said you fell, but you were fine. I fell and thought I was fine, then was I was at a medical appt trying to figure out what why my back was acting up she studied me and said, “You fell.”…me, oh, yeah, a couple weeks ago! Hubby wasn’t thrilled cuz I didn’t tell him. 🤣😂🤣 I had even forgotten.
