Ate Leila!! Fun story, I use to work in Ate Leila’s little store that was in back of her mom’s grocery store. She use to sell Chinese slippers and Chinese Knick knacks. My Lolo and Lola lived in the apartments above and when we stayed there during the summers, we would hang out at her store! This was in the 1980s! It is so sad to see the state of Seattle. I was raised there and downtown Seattle use to be so safe and vibrant.

Prices in Seattle are outrageous. I just paid $9.49 for a can of Annie's refrigerated cinnamon rolls @ Fred Meyer!! I couldn't believe it. 🤯 What a fun family getaway, I hope you all feel better soon.

I worked in the medical dental building a decade ago and would go to westlake to pick up lunch and even bartells to pick up prescriptions. It’s too sad what Seattle has become. I used to frequent the rack underneath westlake too. Wonder if that’s still there? They have more stuff than any other Nordstrom rack.
