Axel is one of the best alive playing boogie music. It is a shame that in the US this music is not embraced. It is worth noting that in most of Europe boogie woogie is a popular style of modern music.

Axel should work together with Martin Schmidt-Hahn on clarinet and sax. I saw Martin play in Hamburg Cotton Club on boogie and blues. Great !!!

sorry mr.widdy - ...i have to add this ...... the most amazing post 40s boogie player is/was Vince Weber from Hamburg. Please listen to his LP "the boogie man" 1975. He won an award for that. Please listen carefully to his drive in the left hand.
