What’s really taking away from MY vocal… is watching this clip and realizing that it was made nearly 30 years ago. And made for a scene in a movie that reflected only 20 to 25 years in the past previously from when the movie itself was released (I think I described that right)

Younger I never understood the humor. But as am older I absolutely love and understand it all. I didn't know if it was a comedy or a drama, if I'm supposed to laugh or not take it serious but it's like a dark comedy and it's so great. I feel like people have forgot or haven't seen this movie and i feel like I'm making it up explaining to my friends and family about boogie nights.

You know the timeline in this movie places this scene around the time that TRANSFORMERS The Movie was being produced, I really believe that Paul Thomas Anderson intended it to be that way, as if Reed Rothchild and Dirk Diggler were trying out for a spot of the Movie Soundtrack with this song.
