We have to atleast consider the possibility that Boogie has a humiliation fetish. After his Documentary I started to theorise this, but after this video I have no doubt 😂

They answered it in documentary imo. It's not a fetish but it's close. He's a covert narcissist type. He enjoys the attention he gets from making people feel bad about him. It's why he will never change. You can't cure a narcissist
@legojay14

@zenbear9952 You can treat it though. Like any mental illness. He's not a mindless being forced to act a certain way. He has free will. He can recognize what the problem is and address it. Most narcissists do that fine. Ones like him are just gold mines for content because they never stop digging a deeper hole on purpose

I feel so bad for Boogie's gf, dating a blob who keeps trying to befriend people who constantly spit in his face. Imagine dating a 50 year old who is just waiting to die, just bombards you with sad shit constantly, gives up on everything and asks for forgiveness on all fours from some internet gnome...

I remember watching the first episode of the podcast, and it's visible how uncomfortable he was throughout it. I have a feeling that he went on another podcast knowing it would risk his position on the podcast. Like he wanted an out. Not that this is true, but it's just a feeling I have.

@lissaw4

@mapowey7214 eh, he still very well could be using it as an out. My mother was crazy, insanely manipulative, and an abusive person - this is something she would actually do frequently when she wanted to get out of things, but wanted you to feel bad and pity her for something she never actually wanted to do. I can't even tell you how many times I saw my mother do this as a young child or would have me call people/take videos of her like this, behind the scenes. It becomes second nature to people like that. They don't want to do something so they make it as complicated, irritating, maddening, crazy, overwhelming, and messy as they possibly could. Then when you get fed up and decide to free yourself from the insanity that they created - they go on a mission to make you feel bad, to get you to pity them, to have you question if you are an awful person to them, and create an out that they can use with others/to the public of why they actually are the victim of all thinys. People like boogie and my mother do this with even small things; just to look like a "good person", have you question if they are just pathetic people, and to obscure their manipulative/abusive behaviors.

See, Boogie (and people in general) are too quick to give up on having integrity. Boogie could move into a much smaller home in a cheaper area and have a much easier time. But he’s delusional (like so many are these days). He’d rather turn his entire life into drama, and then broadcast that drama and stir the drama pot to make money off of it. All we’re seeing with this Boogie stuff is someone who is trying to cling on to their popularity and money because they know they’ve hit the end. That’s all it is. And frankly I can’t understand why anyone cares. The “lolcow podcast” has potential to be entertaining, but it won’t be. It won’t be handled or managed right, and is ultimately just another thing people are using to try to make money.

Look I get it. I'm a super sweet soft hearted person that avoids confrontation like the plague. I cannot stand the thought of someone being upset with me, or hurting someone's feelings or any of that kinda thing. But there is no way in fk I would ever allow a person to berate the shit out of me call me all kinds of horrible garbage and literally tell me to go kill myself. There's a hang up button for a reason. And yes there's a difference between being forgiving and moving past things and just being a doormat. I've had to work on that myself bc of the person I just so happen to be. But even if i dont engage in a shouting name calling match with someone, I'll absolutely remove myself from the situation and I won't allow someone to just shit all over me uninterrupted. Nor will I hesitate to completely cut out ppl like that from having any part in my life. I mean damn dude that whole thing is one of the most pathetic things I've ever witnessed in my life. A grown ass man allowing another grown ass man to verbally bludgeon him near to death publicly and not only just take it but then get on his knees to grovel as tho he is thanking his lucky stars to be talked to that way. It's weird it's awkward and it's uncomfortable af man.
