I think you have to strike the black part with grooves to produce a sound

I saw this on ebay and with the extended case, it looks like it would be about the size of a 1/2 guitar and I thought you strum over the hole in the black section. Anyway, you just saved me 20 dollarydoos and I think I'll just make a version of what I initially thought it was 😂 plywood and a drainpipe should do the trick
