Too damn slow, these. It was a terrible idea replacing trains with trams on the Bury branch. The results are visible - utterly awful capacity issues. The Altrincham route was criminal. Manchester needs some serious brains that can see the big picture. Trams should be complimenting, not replacing urban rail.
