I have spent many happy hours at Warrington. In the days when Fiddlers Ferry power station was working there was much coal traffic from local mines with 40's, pairs of 20's and 56's frequently providing the power. They were good days. It's not the same now.

@ 1:48 the lines on the right i believe is were the orignal line went towards Altrincham before the MSC was built

6:56 about 500 yards along the Track is were Whitecross railway staion was the other side of Crossfield Signal box ...

Maybe there could be plans to bring back the railway line that went to Altrincham, South Manchester and Stockport.

@ 1:48 is were Wilderspool railway station it was a single platform and it was on the left were the building is ..
