Great video Mr Boogie, lots of continuity with trains arriving and departing constantly. I can't believe some of the original 150's are still in service, they must be over 40 years old. Can't wait for episode 2. 🤓

I only been to Leeds once and it’s a very nice city. I do like the Class 333 which Northern should still keep them.

oooh! You caught one of the two prototype 150s! Interesting!

Yes, indeed. Made we wonder. The physical appearance of the trailer cars in a class 455 (excluding those inserted into some units of PEP origin) look very similar to the centre car in the 2x prototype class 150's. Bet it wouldn't be an easy job though, to adapt and insert them between Class 150 Driving cars to increase capacity, and get systems talking to each other etc etc. and increase overall passenger capacity

I wonder when Northern and other operators of the types will be in a position to replace the 150s. It's about time a programme was devised, otherwise the number of DMUs from the 80s and 90s needing to be replaced could become unmanageable.

The issue is that nobody wants to buy a fleet of new DMUs when we are trying to reach net zero. Bionic duckweed and other alternative fuels are not yet credible.

Leeds is a nice city in West Yorkshire. Sounds like you have been to Leeds many times. I only been to Leeds once.

This was my first proper visit in 50 years. Passed through whilst changing trains a couple of years ago. It is a very busy railway centre. Well worth the time.
