I am interested in the history and development of the railway network. I get a lot of my information from Wikipedia but it is always best to check against multiple sources and reference books if they are available. I have quite a library.

Thanks for this video which I see as the "Grosvenor" trilogy. I have saved them to run together. It was good to see the view of the completed Battersea Power Station redevelopment from Ebury bridge.

My team have recently produced and delivered the training simulators for this area to Network Rail for signaller training. Amazing how discrete the Central & Eastern sides are. Nice vantage point to see the operations in/out of both sides.

I'm always surprised by how little the low level connection from the South London line via Stewarts Lane is now used. In times of perturberation it should be useful and was commonly used many years ago.

As Gatwick Express has 18 Class 387/2 and used to have 27 Class 387/2s with the 9 Class 387/2s now with Southern. I do think that Gatwick Express should have the 9 Class 387/2s back so that they can continue on operating 8-Car and 12-Car service from London Victoria to Gatwick Airport.
