The Notorious iconic one and only London Paddington, in all it’s splendour. Awesome 💯

Great railway video as always Boogies Trains.

Nice little film Mr Boogie, personally I like the idea of trains having names and adds a bit of "glamour and prestige" to the service. And to answer your question yes the railway companies are missing a trick. Well done 🤓

Excellently produced as ever. Looking through my notes, I see I was on the Somerset/Wilts border that morning and saw 800313 work up from Plymouth on 1A77, as well as 802111 on 1A80 from Penzance. Keep up the great work!

I was on a 2 coach TfW Class 197 train from Warrington to Chester, and there was a trolley service. The train was going from Manchester Airport to Llandudno.

I did Manchester to Warrington on one earlier this year and the trolley was busy.

Now, wasn't there a time when the Metropolitan (H & C) crossed the GWML at grade, a century or so ago?

Before the underpass between Royal Oak and Westbourne Grove. A bit more than a century I think.

Or even The Bristolian or The Cheltenham Flyer in terms of train names for The IET's BT

Wish that Heathrow Express kept the Class 332 or they could have inherited the Class 379s from Greater Anglia. As the seats on the Class 379 are lot more comfortable than the horrible hard seats on the Class 387.

London Paddington is not the same without the HSTs 165s 166s 360s and 332s

It's also not the same without named trains, I used to travel with my Father back in 1950's on The Red Dragon. Breakfast in the Dining Car Kedgeree linen tablecloths and smartly dressed attendants..those we the days😂😂

There are some short videos on my other channel of those days.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnaqq2RprZmGoaM Link to one of the videos. There is a playlist but it needs tidying up as I accidentally duplicated some videos and then deleted them.
