The final video from my day out around Willesden and Old Oak. In this episode I start at Willesden Junction before making my way to Old Oak. I end by travelling back towards Euston, ending at South Hampstead on the Lioness Line.

Nice little film Mr Boogie. Brought back lots of memories of my time working in this area back in the mid 1970's. Well done 🤓

I particularly like South Hampstead as you also get the Chiltern trains passing over.

Nice video! I like the details of each train. I like the modern and new trains, like British Railway Classes 378 and 710.

Thank you for this and your earlier videos from in and around Willesden Junction. As with all your stuff, most informative and interesting. I never realised how good the view from South Hampstead was! Too late now, as I no longer live in the London area. I’d be interested in your view of the new identities recently bestowed on the various lines operated by Overground - the Mildmay Line, for example. I somehow doubt whether they’ll become as familiar as the Underground lines, but we shall see. Meanwhile, I will eagerly await your next venture!

I'm pleased to hear that you are enjoying my work. Re the new Overground names. There is definitely a need to distinguish the lines from one another. Hearing 'severe delays on the Overground ' on the TV is hardly helpful. The new names combine the North and West London and East and South London lines, which is also not helpful for people in the south west and south of London. The names are also very gimmicky. Keeping the geographic lines would have been better. The Lea Valley lines and Goblin would have been good enough for the rest. Unfortunately that wouldn't have earned the consultants much money so a more complicated and less useful solution was required.

One of the best locations for freight in London as about 3 routes converge onto the north London line there

If only TfL and London Overground didn’t change its services and renamed them but I still do like the Class 378 and Class 710.
